MPM Cutting Partners was established in 2004 after owner
Mary Pat Morris, a lifelong rider, acquired the first of her
cutting horses. Instantly “hooked” Mary Pat has since
orchestrated a comprehensive cutting horse program under the
guidance and direction of Troy L. Davis.
Among his notable accomplishments, Troy was the 1992 NCHA
World Champion in the $3,000 Novice Horse division, the 2004
A.P.H.A. World Champion in the Jr. Cutting, and the
recipient of the prestigious Dave McGregor Award in 2005.
The home of the MPM cutting operation is located at Troy
and Barbara Davis’, Rafter T Ranch. The ranch is located
just North of Stephenville, TX. It is at the Rafter T where
we implement our program and are dedicated to raising and
producing horses that excel in the cutting horse industry.
